Farmers Insurance teamed up with Kespry to provide drones to their insurance inspectors.
In partnership with Kespry, Farmers will send in drones to assess hurricane damage. Just this month, Farmers announced a new microdrone fleet that will assist adjusters on residential roof damage claims in areas impacted by hailstorms and other severe weather events.
Farmers recently announced an agreement with Kespry, which will provide the insurer with hardware, software and analytics around drones.
A unique feature of the Farmers drone program will be its exclusive use of Farmers claims professionals throughout the claim handling process.
Farmers said the Kespry drones will help it move more quickly and safely to gather rooftop imagery and data, generate analytic reports, supplement ladder assist capabilities and resolve more claims with greater efficiency and accuracy.
Drones deliver benefits and one of those is the ability to conduct aerial inspections safely and economically.
